The trend
A trend needs two monthly measurements of the same providers, and there are not two yet. The June figure was compiled by hand rather than measured, so we do not subtract it from a measured month. Each month that passes our checks is added to the archive.

Each provider we follow is measured on its 5 GB / 30-day plan for the Europe region, and that price is divided by five to give a cost per gigabyte. From those figures we report the average, the median, and the lowest and highest across the 6 providers with a comparable plan.
Unlimited plans stay out because a per-gigabyte figure cannot be derived from them, and free tiers stay out of the paid average. Every price is read from the provider's own pricing page and rechecked every week, and a promotion can move it. The whole series is available in the machine-readable feed.
The monthly measurement that feeds the archive follows a fixed set of providers whose 5 GB / 30-day price can be read straight from their own page. Today that means aloSIM, BNESIM, Jetpac, Nomad, Roamless and Saily. The ranking above comes from our weekly price check and can include others.
The others stay out of that set for a stated reason. Airalo and GigSky show the plan only after a click, Ubigi sells no 30-day 5 GB plan for Europe, Holafly and Firsty have no per-gigabyte price, and Instabridge, Flexiroam, Yesim and Maya Mobile block or hide automated reading.
