About Instabridge

Instabridge (Swedish) became known for its crowdsourced map of millions of free Wi-Fi hotspots, and added eSIM data packs as the natural companion: a 5 GB / 30-day Europe pack runs around $15. The pitch is total connectivity cost: use the app to find free Wi-Fi for the heavy lifting and burn mobile data only in between. The eSIM product itself is unremarkable but fairly priced. For budget travelers, students, and long-stay backpackers, the combination undercuts pure eSIM players in real-world spend.

Started as the world’s biggest Wi-Fi-sharing map, now sells eSIM packs too. The combination is clever: free Wi-Fi where it exists, cheap data where it does not. The eSIM side is competent but plainer than the dedicated players.Editorial team, via eSIMShortlist
